Automatic autonomous fire extinguishing device used for the protection of enclosed spaces
The device operates automatically without human intervention, self-activating without the need for an external power source, based on the principle of detecting high temperatures or direct flame.
It works independently of electrical power through a specially modified polyamide (PA) hose (with an outer diameter of approximately 18 mm), which activates at a temperature of 70°C - 100°C (± 3°C), depending on the type of Proteng device, or through direct flame.
In the event of a fire caused by heat or when the temperature in the protected area reaches a critical limit, the pressure tube at the highest temperature point degrades, melts, and creates an opening through which the entire contents of the extinguishing agent are released directly into the fire source.
The extinguishing agent HFC227ea (heptafluoropropane) is a liquefied gas that, when released into the atmosphere, becomes gaseous. Its extinguishing effect is based on cooling and anti-catalytic properties. The agent absorbs heat from the flammable material while also entering the chemical reaction chain of combustion, slowing it down and stopping the reaction.
The extinguishing agent is non-toxic, non-poisonous, and has no carcinogenic or mutagenic effects.
